He's a little terror, coming on nicely. Nearly had his first kill last week, an old or sick pigeon, missed it by inches as it took off and it flew off for a few hundred yards but was only flying about 7ft off the ground with him in pursuit, pissing myself.

I think it was originally designed as a war strategy game.

The words “check mate” are derived from the Persian “ Shah Mort” , literally “ the king is dead”

I think it should be taught in school.

Can't be arsed with it, a few years ago I played our lasses brother and beat him. But then he started practicing and studying it a bit more and last time I played him he beat me every single time, "Am not playing!" If I can beat you then you are terrible. Lol
