No he don’t mate he’s just an annoying old prick that talks shit my boat is completely sea worthy and I would happily take it across to France be more of an adventure getting across England than the channel

I owned and lived on a 55 ft harborough trad.me and a mate bought it when we was doing a bit of gardening, anyway it was brilliant way of life and I've thought about buying one again to live on ,

Going across the channel would be some adventure on a NB , if love to travel the rivers , canals in France ,Holland , Germany.

Nice , I've been thinking about getting another one , wouldn't mind getting a fixer upper as long as the hull , engine ok ,I was offered a old wooden hull boat couple years ago at a really low price but the work it needed wasn't something I'd take on .

Few of my mates went travelling with the sound systems around Europe early 2000s  Anyway after travelling all over Europe a few settled in Bulgaria, they chipped in and bought a farm house with land for less than 15k ,it's got out buildings, woodlands and a river running along the bottom,it needed a lot of work and it's took a few years to do but now they have a house and land you would probably pay half a million maybe more here in UK,it's got mountains, lakes ,forests ,prime hunting ,fishing ground on the doorstep.

They love it out there, they have made a business having back packers and mountain bikers etc stay in the outbuildings they turned into self contained b&b

I'm going out to visit in November for 10 days ,who knows I may just make Bulgaria home , because England no longer feels like home .

When I was working on the fibre and  telecoms network, early 2000's ,a lad I worked alongside bought a place out in Bulgaria...spent 15k and had a  beautiful little house and some land...the place needed roller shutters to stop it getting emptied when he wasn't there😬 he used to pay the local gypsies ( in old box sets of Makita tools lol)to stay on the ground and look after the place... remember him saying that the houses all had copper straps from the roof to the floor ,on to big ground spikes because of the thunderstorms and weather out there... electric was a bit hit and miss👍

Not spoken to him for a few yrs,I suspect he's out there full time now, living the dream👍

most houses have electric, some have wells for water , none of that bothers me as I live on a yard "plot of land "i run a geny and panels for power so I'd do same if we moved,I'd love to have a small holding in UK but just couldn't afford it but I could in Bulgaria , it'd be hard work but worth it and I'd still have my plot on the fens  to come back and visit family.
