Fair play that’s a good way to be. My grandmother used to make us sit and pray rosarys every evening when we were small and always told us we were to pray for contentment. That all any of us need

It’s like anything mate, you have to go and live in another society before you can make that evaluation…..I visit back now and 2 days and I can’t wait to leave. Its worse than when I lived there admittedly but even so I genuinely wonder how I put up with it…..but the answer is simple, I didn’t know any different.

I've seen decline in the last 30 years, I'm from a mining village. But, things are still relatively good, we don't want for nothing, I still feel safe in my area, etc.

gnasher16 31,540
Ive had a couple of attempts at living abroad but never fully committed to it having kept a property in England theres just too much i miss about the place.....but after some recent long discussions with the ol woman, friends and family etc we've decided to give it another 4 years max and then decide one way or the other, either completely sell up or stay for good......either Cyprus or Southern Spain will be the destination as they're the places we settled in before....if by some miracle we turn it all around as a country,or the Hammers win the league then i aint going nowhere....but at this point id say a move is on the cards.
