But Adele can belt out Let me Feel your love Or Jimi Hendrix doing All along the Watchtower.. Eels do a good version of Girl from the North Country.. I think Dolly Parton's original of "I Will Always Love You" is better than Houston's. Yes, Dolly Parton is widely considered a gay icon, and she actively embraces and supports the LGBTQ+ community. Her status as a gay icon stems from her long history of allyship, her outspoken support for LGBTQ+ rights, and her music, particularly the song "Coat of Many Colors" which resonates deeply with many in the community. Here's why Dolly Parton is considered a gay icon: Outspoken Ally: Dolly Parton has consistently spoken out in support of LGBTQ+ rights, including advocating for marriage equality. "Coat of Many Colors": The song "Coat of Many Colors" about her childhood experiences with a handmade coat is seen as a metaphor for acceptance and pride in being different, which resonates strongly with LGBTQ+ individuals. "Family" Lyrics: The song "Family" on her 1991 album, Eagle When She Flies, includes the lyric "Some are preachers, some are gay, some are addicts, drunks and strays, but not a one is turned away when it's family," highlighting her inclusive views. Openness and Acceptance: Parton has expressed her love and acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community, stating that everyone should be allowed to be themselves. Addressing Criticism: She has also called out Christians who judge LGBTQ+ people, stating that being gay is not a choice and that people should be free to be who they are. "Gay Day" at Dollywood: She hosts "Gay Day" at her theme park, Dollywood, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, which has faced some backlash and threats but continues to be a celebration of inclusivity. Shared Values: She has also said that the LGBTQ+ people she knows are some of the most sensitive and caring individuals. In essence, Dolly Parton's consistent support, inclusive messages, and the deep resonance of her music with the LGBTQ+ community have cemented her status as a beloved and enduring gay icon.

Yeah an amazing talent, quite possibly the best guitarist, from his rhythm to lead work and absolute unique style, no doubt a freak as he could do the lot, perform, write, sing, play...madness... Dylans not everyone's cuppa tea, but the fact remains he has written more than most, his talent lies in song writing, he isn't the full package like Prince, and never tried to be... as I said for most people they prefer hos songs covered by others, I'm sure his bank balance doesn't mind...lol

Also Dylan is a great artist, I was very close to spending a few bob on a one in 50 signed print of the Hurricane painting he done, it shows Ruben Carter in a boxing pose looking through an upstairs window... His other thing is welding, he makes steel gates out of all sorts of scrap bits, proper arty stuff... loved to hang one somewhere...
