Would you.... A, Have a haphazard attempt at getting rid of it yourself....and if so how ? B, Bite the bullet and get someone in who knows what they're doing. C,Wait it out and presume it will go dormant or whatever at the end of the summer. My pal has me flapping after telling me the average wasps nest has 5000 wasps ....not sure if he's having me on or not. I can see exactly where they're going in so with a quick half hearted spray of some domestic stuff out the cupboard a good 20 came out the hole but i was away on my toes double lively so no idea if theres loads but can definitely hear them from the inside. This the stuff u want mate

Waz 4,291
Ant powder will work, even better if its in a kinda squeezable bottle, or decant into an empty washing up liquid bottle, shake & as many blasts into the opening that youve got the bottle for., theyll react, so dont go dressed like your headed to the beach! net curtain, a cap and pair of any gloves & a clean getaway may suffice! Or yell.com I used to cover that area once upon a time in the shires.

pesky1972 5,626
Had one in a bird box a few years back but a bit too close to where the kids played. Waited until late evening and they were all home and took a 3m length of 15mm plastic pipe and filled the end with ant powder and blew it into the box. Worked a treat.
