gnasher16 31,120
In the eaves of a wooden outbuilding well away from the house but i do need to go in there every few days. Would you.... A, Have a haphazard attempt at getting rid of it yourself....and if so how ? B, Bite the bullet and get someone in who knows what they're doing. C,Wait it out and presume it will go dormant or whatever at the end of the summer. My pal has me flapping after telling me the average wasps nest has 5000 waspsΒ ....not sure if he's having me on or not. I can see exactly where they're going in soΒ with a quick half hearted spray of some domestic stuff out the cupboard a good 20 came out the hole but i was away on my toes double lively so no idea if theres loads but can definitely hear them from the inside.

D. Sell the house an move hahaha Β only joking, I donβt do wasps for a living but wouldnβt dream of getting somebody in unless it was a bad one, iv done a fair few over the years for mates an nests on yard an stuff, an easiest way of possible is wait till itβs wet/cold/raining or dark an that usually slows them down a bit, an if itβs only a small one then hold a bag under it, cut it an drop it into a bag seal bag an dispose of carefully haha or buy some the do it yourself spray off the web, job done Β or phone somebody itβs usually only about 60/80 quidΒ

TOMO 28,273
If you try yourself with ant powder do it when it's dark....most of the workers will be in at that point.... Put the torch somewhere else ...as any that fly out will most likely go for the torch... Get a mate to hold it for ya...lol
