I ran that big deerhound bitch on the mountains In north Scotland and she was in her element.

I ran her on bolted rabbits at Beddy Daves permission on the southern Scottish hills and she ripped a stopper off on her first run !

“ Horses for courses”, “Hounds for grounds”, as they say !

Cheers.

Any of you rabbit lads find them black rabbits harder or wiser than normal rabbits to catch or is it coincidence must say when we were kids locally there was a blacken n a black n white one n every one from around with whippets lurchers n terriers was after them caterpults snares n even air rifle men it was always the normal ones that was taken but never the black n the black n white they always evaded everyone but in the end I heard it was the air rifles that did take them..

As years went on especially in the daytime I do remember coming across wiser than usual black rabbits or as said maybe coincidence🤔

Crafty fuckers them black rabbits , only ever had about 3 of them in my time, used to get a few  of what we know as Dutch rabbits (brown & white) on one area back of Burnley never seen them any where else
