dodger 3,560
Any of you rabbit lads find them black rabbits harder or wiser than normal rabbits to catch or is it coincidence must say when we were kids locally there was a blacken n a black n white one n every one from around with whippets lurchers n terriers was after them caterpults snares n even air rifle men it was always the normal ones that was taken but never the black n the black n white they always evaded everyone but in the end I heard it was the air rifles that did take them.. As years went on especially in the daytime I do remember coming across wiser than usual black rabbits or as said maybe coincidence Quote Link to post

Shit or bust. My lurcher owning friends did not like it, my terriers loved it. All of a sudden they were travelling at 30/40 MPH and keeping up with a rabbit. 1 Quote Link to post

It's great to watch mouthing the rabbit and doing a few summersaults 1 2 Quote Link to post

I have some fond memories of hunting Hawick in the 90's... Quote Link to post
