Exactly the same as my nan and grandads on a Sunday evening . Grandad be back in the kitchen 2 hours after doing dinner for anything from probably 8 people up to 16 depending on who went round . He was some cook

We’d get a choice of crisps for our sandwiches 3/4 Sundays then Iceland fish and chips the 4th always home made trifle laced with sherry 

always thought it was mad no one smoked at my grans yet when her cousin came round she was allowed to chain smoke in the kitchen with an ashtray at the table door and window open…. Women never let the packet leave her hand just lit one from the one she was finishing …. And she’s out lived the lot of them

It's true when your times up it's up. Load of bollocks this smoking malarkey shite. In old days they used to smoke have a glass of spirits. And like you say some are still rocking now. Lol.
