Dunno, sounds ideal but I’m sure downsouth had said they have a reputation for being a bit unstable? I’m taking this seriously but can’t rush. Like Anything mate all lines will be different. Mines was sound easy to train I just brought it up like any my lurchers lived out in the kennel with my other coursing bred was sound around my yard/garden Very chilled and relaxed good with kids ect ect and when you took it out a walk had tones of energy. if you have instagram mate add that account and have a look he’s got good blood and I’m sure that’s the same stuff the boy who uses his for deer stalking in Scotland came from.
mitre 258
Our last dog for 14 years was a Pitbull cross very protective no one could come to ours could not walk her as she would go for other dogs and if people got close too very loving around our youngest brother and broke his heart when she was put down a strong fighter even on the day she went I had to tell the nurse at the vets to muzzle her as she still could go for her and her co worker
Chid 6,780
I know nothing about protection dogs ect.. But surely a well bred gsd should be the first thought they normally have a natural guarding instinct and are a visual deterrent.

They’re a one man dog though mate you need to put all your time into them. Man has 3/4 near me probably not even as big as blade but he’s got to walk them individually each day f**k that

If I was going going to get another mastiff type after my old girl passes which in all honesty I doubt I will it would profitably be a female boerboel

I used to think the Bull Mastiff was a nice dog but now they just look overly grotesque, it's just finding the right lines, more functional types. Daniel cain 48,464
Unfortunately,if someone is determined to help themselves to items of your property...all a dog will do,is make them look for a way around it...they will come back and poison/knock it on the head, throw something else in to keep it busy, and still rinse you Only real way to stop scum,is to catch them at it...find out what they drive, where they live/stay....and burn the cnuts out.... Or you could pass on the information and rely on the Police? I know what road I would take personally
WILF 49,738
What nobody has said in this whole conversation is that isn’t it f***ing atrocious that this is England we are talking about…..I mean just stop for a second and think about that ! Not Texas or South Africa or Rhodesia or Mexico or Guatamala……middle f***ing England ! It’s perverse and disgusting and horrific and heartbreaking all in equal measure…..if you happen this week to relate this tragic tale to someone at work or in passing and they say “Well, that’s just how it is now” please…..please, please, please bang their f***ing head against the nearest wall !! 2

Born clearly has a full time job and a young family, aswell as spaniels I doubt he has the time to be walking/training a large mastiff individually it’s all time consuming and a headache. like any working dogs there’s all different lines and standards you’ve clearly not been around any sound decent cane corso’s

There’s absolutely a political side to this mate. I have reason to believe that a very contemporary political issue that isn’t being dealt with is the cause of this. I just can’t be arsed with it right now and I don’t know where I stand legally before speaking to the police.
