chartpolski 26,738
A lot smaller but very impressive are Madain Saleh and Petra, in the Saudi and Jordanian deserts. Built by the ancient Nabatean civilisation; what happened to them ? Cheers.
mushroom 13,782
Petra etc, the stone is sandstone if I remember correctly. Soft enough to sculpt with basic metal tools How they worked granite and transported huge blocks is a whole other question.

Lenmcharristar 10,214
Id say those are pre flood (pre you ger dryas) works, some could have been done by survivors of the flood whilst the rocks, sandstone, limestone was still soft then the groups died out, but id bet on it being pre flood, same as the pyramids

Seem to remember a Roman contemporary writing about Celt/Briton warriors shagging horses to prove their virility, then chopping of the heads and bathing in the blood… Sounds like a Tuesday night out in Blackpool if I’m honest

I find him and the people he has around him/collaborating absolutely fascinating. Two fingers up for decades and is now being proven on tract as having the more believable theory of our journey and the disasters along the way
