The prices as said, you could get abroad and spend less

Could just hire a sweat box for the week, seen some nice log cabins as well at Forest Holidays.

Whatever suits but if the pup is less than (I think) 10kg you can fly with it on Vueling with a passport. Check the rules though, since Brexit rules have changed.

Don't it need a rabies vaccination to travel in Europe, or one to get back in the UK?

Yes that's the passport thing. Take it to the vets and say it's 3months old lol, they'll chip it, vaccinated it and give you the blue book ;)

Tomo did it for me for my dog. Maybe rules etc have changed but at the least look into it 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think you have to wait at least 4 weeks until after it's vaccine before you can travel, had to go through it when I got the Akita.

Was 3 months from memory, the first time I did it. I had lads travel ,over from Germany to collect a Patterdale pup, they paid S.Ellis for it and I travelled up country, collected, sorted out the jabs and passport ,fed and kennelled the dog until they got over here...dog went on the back seat ,they drove home and didn't even get stopped or asked for any paperwork ...good 8 yrs or more ago mind👍

No, I meant 4 weeks until after the rabies shot, so, if you import a dog from abroad technically you can't get it until 4 months old, as you say, they have to be 3 months old to have the jab.
