Not worth it. Cheers.

Was going to try fizzy wine with some of this years fruits Half a teaspoon of sugar added to the bottle would give second fermentation but I was wanting to avoid sediments. I use Turbo yeast and Turbo finings and get excellent results with a high alcohol content. Just fancied a bottle of sparkling now and again. Cheers.

Beetroot was nice and around 14 % , I prefer the pales though … carrot was not bad but the best was a strawberry I did that was like a Pinot rose … going to try a rhubarb this year with my crop , I’ve a blackcurrant that’s maturing along with a banana. Should have enough blackcurrants for another brew this year … yet to try parsnip.
FLATTOP 5,108
Try Rosehip chaps it comes out looking like a rose very light refreshing and easy to drink and apparently good for arthritis, when I was on the railway I used to harvest all the hedgerows lineside and made a multitude of wines.

The local council planted plum trees next to my allotment, (very nice of them), years ago, yellow, red and black, alternately, and there’s a community orchard a few hundred yards away with apples and pears, loads of blackberries, elderberries and sloes all around, so plenty of raw materials, but I’ve also made decent wine using Lidl’s 2 litre summer fruits juice. Demijohns waiting to be pressure washed and steam cleaned; Cheers.

tatsblisters 10,933
Remember Alpine pop well we had it delivered every Saturday dandelion and burdock being my favourite and the lad who delivered the pop also sold a bit of hooky gear as well to top his money up. Also they had a depot and factory in Eastwood in Rotherham in the 70s that every kid in the area used to raid most nights when it got dark early in the winter me included.
