I’ve never heard it called that. “Local “ or “round the doors” is what I’d say, but I didn’t think it was separate types of dogs. Also there’s an Open whippet racing meeting at Horden , Durham on Sunday . There will be lurcher racing aswell, so, mC , if you fancy coming up, you could get a timed race against Max’s dog, a timed solo run or I could maybe arrange a race against a non/ped for you ?
