Local media got a fairly decent picture of the boy the other night, worth a share I thought

My nine year old grandson has just been accepted for a football academy in Saudi Arabia. His first competitive game his team won and he scored the winning goal and was “man of the match”; H

I have a Mini Cooper. People have said to me that it is woman's car... not bothered, class things to drive. People have said that it is a puff's car... not bothered, class things to drive. On the news

I was trying to be polite and keep quiet ! lol

That's not like you! Lol

Not much to gloat about these days, beating UTD is almost a given...17 league losses!! WTF..

I've said for ages it's not (for me anyway) a question of not winning trophies, it's the whole way the club is being ran, the chopping of managers, the constant awful recruitment of players..the turning decent players into shit then loaning them out only to watch them become world beaters, selling McTominay and keeping casimero on £375k a week.. the list goes on....

I think for those of us of a certain age, we look on in disbelief at Utd now…..just when you think it can’t get worse, it does !

I don’t think this Radcliffe bloke is the answer either, I think he is in there looking for meat off a corpse…..just doing what the Americans have done and using Utd to advance his own opportunities.

Spurs are the same, all be it better run, but in so much as I don’t think the owner gives two fucks about football….its just a thing that football gave birth to and is now attached.

We have that little midget ourselves who, if he hadn’t made a gazillion quid selling pictures of Mary Millingtons gash would be pugged up in some council gaff in Dagenham with those fake Greek pillars outside the front door holding up the porch ! lol

We all know what should happen with these lovely grounds and great facilities (all be it yours is falling down by the looks of it? lol) and the things proper football people should be doing with such assets…..but they don’t seem to give a f**k ?

Im saying that like I should be shocked but I don’t suppose any of us are……it all comes home to roost eventually when they realise that at football clubs, being a football club that does proper things matters.

Talk about a freak accident, he suffered a ruptured intestine after this clash with the goalpost, must have hit it with some serious force.

Duncan Ferguson has a book out so doing the rounds on some of the podcast thingies.

Type of player who probably wouldn’t fit with the style of play in the EPL now but was effective back in the day. Lifestyle and discipline maybe held him back a wee bit, but still a hero with the blue half of Liverpool. Be a handy lad to have by your side if you got into a bit of barney, but you maybe wouldn’t want him in your quiz team.

I watched him on the “Stick to football” thing, he came across as a very modest ordinary lad…..I liked that.

Good day for Palace yesterday good for them......i wish my Hammers could be more like that instead of all this romantic " loyalty " stuff with players like Cresswell,Coufal,Fabianski all pledging eternal love to the club saying what a wonderful family the club is....f**k all that we've moved grounds to be a big club thats going to win stuff bollocks to going back to the morally upstanding righteous local club we was before....or else what was the point in moving in the first place id like to see us a little bit more ruthless in our dealings.

The only saving grace this season is that Spurs and Mancs were seemingly just as bad/worse than us !

I don’t take all that too seriously myself mate, as in, it’s like going to a retirement do….its a nice thing but it’s all a charade really, so you smile and join in and say what a lovely chap old Fred Bloggs was and then f**k off and forget him.
Everyone feels all warm for 5 minutes then it’s business as usual.

The only one I liked from yesterday’s outpouring of made up solidarity and friendliness was Vardy getting his send off……the lad came from local football, ended up the record goal scorer and has the trophy’s to back it up…..perfect ! That deserves a bit of recognition in my book.

Happy with that Palace result, I think most of us would have been rooting for any small club against those bunch.

Thats the problem though mate it is serious....especially in a small squad like ours.....we're giving away millions in wages on players with no future at the club....Cresswell hasnt been a regular for 5 years odd,Nobles legs had gone 5 years before we stopped paying his wages,Antonio was already on his way out now we've got all sentimental over the fact he cant drive in a straight line....its all small club " local lads " mentality that a lad like Paqueta comes to the club as a brilliant talent, sees how easy it is to just " coast " and ends up an average player.......the club has to rid itself of these niceties and develop a ruthless edge off and on the pitch.

Agree with all that 100% mate, but you and I know it’s been that way for a long time….like, as long as I can remember.

You're a bit older than me and obviously a born and bred local lad so you probably remember when there was a few quality boys who stuck around….but for me it’s almost always been that, we always sold all the class stuff.
You are absolutely spot on that the “bang average” mentality has to change but realistically do we think it will ?……you just live with it don’t you mate.
I’ve said for a long time (and it wasn’t out of disloyalty or wanting to be something we ain’t) that we are two bob about everything…..the training ground from what I read and have seen is embarrassing at premier league level……it’s just who we are.

Is it right ?, no, not at any level…..excellence, and by excellence I mean being as good as you can possibly be at everything and looking like that’s what you want, should be standard.

But let’s face it, who the f**k is taking anything seriously when your owner is pulling up dressed like a miget version of a cross between Micheal Jackson and a Russian Dictator  and doing things like putting his son in charge of the women’s team because he can…..like, give the boy a job type stuff ! lol

it’s funny mate, but funny in that usual West Ham way of if you didn’t laugh you’d cry. lol

I would be grateful if we could all have a minutes silence for our very own Gary Lineker after he was forced to resign from the BBC over an offensive Tweet.
