Was without power for about 30 hours, lucky as some won’t have power restored until Thursday.

Out came the petrol cooker and went full prepper ! Lol 

Another one blowing in off the Atlantic today by all accounts but hopefully not as bad.

I did mate, bit nostalgic really because I used to live in a caravan when I was little and that only had gas lights at the time !…..bored the arse off my oldest boy regaling him with story’s about it ! Lol

Just a bit windy really no need to name it and try to frighten everyone again, I was born in 63 now that was some bad weather and I spent over 11 hours driving 50 miles across Salisbury in 87? When we had a proper storm 

 

nothing new we just got on with it before the Fanny’s took charge

Remember it very well, walking about the next day was a sight mate.

The roof off the dairy buried in the front upstairs windows of peoples houses and rows and rows of trees just flattened. 
Blew a window in on our house, old type single glazed sash.

I agree with you about naming storms, seems every time it gets a bit blustery it's given a name but Sunday was different well over here anyway, I was on the road yesterday and today and I've never seen as many trees down, farm out buildings with roofs blown off, it was a bit more than the usual gusty evening.

It would of been a bit gusty along the coast wilf, the last time I remember winds like we had here on Sunday night was 99 the only reason I remember is because it blew ridge tiles and slates of our roof and the bastrud things landed on the roof off my car. Lol.

My daughter lives in Belfast and she said it was just a bit windy where she was but that’s with the shelter of the city I suppose.

Apparently it got really wild along the coast in Sligo and Donegal !……I bet those poor sods were shitting bricks mate.

Yeah definitely, used to love the wind when a youngster but the responsibility of being a home owner came along and f****d that up.
