I live in the biggest town in the Scottish Borders and see in the last month the number of coloured faces has increased dramatically….. I’ve heard up here private landlords being offered 30% on top of normal rental value to house them unsure if that’s true 

I’m converstions people are starting to awaken what that leads to I don’t know but it’s simple mathematics

they out breed our native population 

we don’t know how many are here illegally or legally for that matter

They were bought for around £2500-£4000 cash back in the late 60s early 70s.

It’s called investing can still be achieved today but I would suggest land is probably more worthwhile putting your money into than property in the current climate you can still get an acre of pasture for 10k recon in 50 year would be adding a nought or more it wasn’t a gift to us old cnuts only those that used there savvy I worked to jobs and had baby’s when interest rates were at 15% most youngsters will fold today when that happens again

Ya it was never easy. My late father never cared about money whenever he got abit together he bought something whether it was a house or a yard or a bit of ground. We had a lot of hardship through the years and there was seriously bad times and bad things happened but now I can say that we managed to weather a storm and I’ve been able to live well on it all and please god my kids will be able to do the same. Unless Scotty is telling the truth. f**k me years clocked up locked up between us all and fights with CAB and Revenue will all have been for nothing. I’m a nervous wreck thinking about it all

Get sold up and f**k off why let the government take what's yours. That's why I said blood sweat and tears. Can't work out why someone would give most there money away to tax man f**k that.
