We have black panthers in our gardens climbing in to skips, Panthera Britannia must be vegan or hate the taste of dog? Lol

There is no breeding population of UK big cats no matter how many lies you tell. Pack it in now and go back to doing what you do best, posting nice pics of the countryside and atrocious food.

Pardus 1,610
An interesting but of info, the Barbary Lion became extinct in the 40's. These subspecies of lion were a popular gift to the Sultans and Kings of Morocco. Modern reports of surviving specimens resembling this subspecies, known for it's dark and copious mane, made these individuals the favourite candidates for a reintroduction in to the Atlas Mountains. The wonders of genetics sadly put this idea to a stop. These remaining individuals were different to that of Eastern-Southern African Lions but unfortunately they were also different to the Barbary Lion. The Barbary Lion is actually more closely related to the Asiatic Lion than any sub-Saharan Lion, if they do actually reintroduce Lions in to the Atlas Mountains, the Asiatic Lion is the closest sister population, providing there's no true Barbary Lions in captivity.
