From lawyers for justice Ireland

LONDON - Surveillance number plate recognition cameras which will be used to track and fine drivers under the expansion of the ultra low emissions scheme (ULEZ) have been vandalised, before they have even been turned on in. There is furious opposition to the Mayor Sadiq Khan's planned expansion of the ULEZ and 4 London boroughs along with Surrey County Council have launched a legal challenge.

The unknown group who have been cutting wires and painting the lenses of the ULEZ surveillance cameras to sabotage them are receiving support on social media for their actions. In the end, when restrictions are imposed by the regime against our will, the people decide.

There was once a fixed speed camera just down the road that was hidden behind a big oak tree, it had a tyre put around it and set on fire, The same happened every time it was replaced, There is now longer a speed camera behind that big oak tree.

I was in town yesterday, saw some lads replacing cameras that had been burnt/sprayed,two lads replacing cameras and two security guards with them,I asked the lad up the ladder why he had security with him?He has had people spitting at him, people trying to push him off the ladder, physical assault, even someone brandishing a knife at him.He had a list of 40 cameras to replace but said he is working 7 days a week.
