I remember someone asked about for recommendations for someone to make them a stick I just got these back from Simon heath sticks on Facebook 

A mate gifted me this stick for free he’s a old chap he used to make them in pairs for display in his house he had 100s but never used to sell them he used to make all sorts of sticks this one I’m sur

400 quid a stick that's ridiculous for a stick with a head glued to it daylight robbery ...i'd of let him keep them once I come out of  shock

I've 3 sticks in the final stages,...no fancy tops or anything,just functional and straight .....I've painted one fully just to try it out,it's erm "DIFFERENT "..lol

That's amazing work ....BUT......I wouldn't find much use for the likes of them,I'd be more a staff and working type stick...but one would be nice standing in the corner of the room lol...you'd be like gandalf the great with one of them in your hand

There are some brilliant  stick makers that carve the figures.  Something I'm planning on having a go at,  thought a hare face on the top of the shaft.  I noted a hazel stick in the wood other day so will pop down with a saw this week. I've a few antlers about to top it off.
