Arry 25,241 Posted Tuesday at 14:24 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 14:24 (edited) Another Cliff walk on the opposite side of the the Salcombe Estuary out to Starehole bay then to the top of Sharptor. Looking back across at the other side where we walk last Thursday. Beautiful flat calm day. This is the lower path about 200 foot above the water. Then a climb up through the valley to get to the top of Sharptor. I will do a second post. Cheers Arry Edited yesterday at 06:29 by Arry 4

Lovely nutty taste mate. Make sure they are about 6 to9 inches across and have a stalk that has a snake skin look. Parasol WWW.WILDFOODUK.COM A great tasting, easy to identify mushroom that is large enough to spot from afar. Cheers Arry

It is a lovely spot there, but if I'm honest, we wouldn't stay again, it was full of the type of people I can't handle, wax jacket, hunter wellies, black lab, spotless defender or discovery.. bit of tweed and from London (or nearby) pretending to be country types.. that's the only problem with that area now (as you know).. but the scenery and beaches are stunning.. Yeah you kindly advused me about that mark and me and Fin had a couple of turbot off it on an early morning fish..
Rickshaw swami 4,462
Went back to the creek today. When I started walking I could smell crawfish in the air.The hairs on my neck stood up.I knew there was an otter somewhere upstream. After a couple hour walk I was at one of my best spots. There was the otter. He was going upstream to my next best spot.I knew I had to convince him to come back.An American dog otter has two weaknesses. His vision and his arrogance.I stood still in the creek and squalled like a coon. The otter came back like a torpedo looking for a fight.I stood still. He finally got close enough he could smell me and knew he had been tricked. he had to hide behind boulder.I was surprised how well it worked. Cooked me up a steak on the rocks. 8
