You landed on a good one there mate Manzes definitely one of the more noted Pie & Mash shops chilli vinegar and white pepper and definitely liquor, I took a mate who had never had it into a good pie shop in Woolwich he asked for gravy it was embarrassing, the Bagel shop in Brick lane is the place for salt beef also used to be a few places around Smithfield meat market.

Yes drunk Guinness and ate salt beef sandwiches, smithfield market ,7am,working with some great Irish lads ,good memories

Been out for horse radish but the crt have dug it all out to replace a fence so 5 miles for nothing though a nice walk is always worth something plenty of berry’s still about Mchull just look harder mate it all depends how much sun is on them wether they are over or not little peak in the bat roost on the way back

The Cep's or as Chefs call them Porcini are probably one of the best Walt. If you dry them the flavour increases I use them as a powder ion stews and gravy. Tasty.

Wish I could find a outlet £125 a kilo.

They are a really easy one to learn if starting foraging.

I've used the dried ones in cooking, and yes ,good flavour,
