poxon 5,555 Posted December 31, 2022 Report Share Posted December 31, 2022 I bought a load of logs in this year just for ease i was being lazy I payed £150 a trailer load from the local farm supply although they looked after me with the load I got but I’d still rather burn the free stuff in my eyes it burn’s better only because it’s free an I’ve become a tight git I hate spending money that I don’t really have to spend any more. Those net bags get me, £5/£10 for an evenings wood, the other problem I have is boat stoves tend to be quite small and a lot of the pre cut logs don’t fit in, I cut mine around 6” to 8” when I stop working I might even do it commercially through the winter, small logs for boats think there would be a few quid to be made 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
