Hope it hasn't meandered its way down from Scotland; Cheers.

Anybody who likes large raptors ought to consider going to the Puy du Fou in France. They have a bird display that you cannot believe. At the finally there must be 50 or more vultures, eagles, hawks,

There's actually a snowy owl living in sunderland flying wild, been there over a year, still there, photographed last week by a bloke.

They release a peregrine from a tethered baloon and lure it in the auditorium. It stoops so fast that you can hardly follow it.

There are other attraction too, about three days worth.

Got to be the best value for money theme park ever. Got to book at this time of year to be sure of a ticket though.

Looks a good day out , use to live not far from a bird of prey centre in Germany called Alderwater in Berlebeck they did some amazing displays with golden eagles

Seen them fly off the fist a couple of times disappointing to be honest give me the chance to watch gos hawks in action anyday.

Tbh I didn’t do the situation justice as I wasn’t expecting it. Just lucky, right place right time

I once held one on the fist wile it's owner adjusted his rucksack for a brief moment on an hawking holiday up in Lochindorb some years back like you say the size and power I was also in awe.

Not an eagle or owl, but a Parrot?, theres this owd chap lives upstairs, i often go visit him, nice chap, anyhow he has this bloody greyt thing i a cage, when i knock on his door, it knows its me, and it goes mental, but when i go inside, fek me it jumps to the front of the cage screaming and pissing itself, owd chap says never enter until its caged, or it will have me,    eh :yahoo:
