Not cheap stuff Jig, they clean up at the country fairs selling their jars of honey, I hope to start the bee keeping soon, do you get much beeswax?

I buy my honey from an old boy round the corner has a few hives in his back garden, I also get bees wax off him to make cream, he always has blocks of bees wax so I guess it’s a huge byproduct, interesting bee fact, back in the old days the bees wax was more valuable than the honey ??

Excellent yield, Jigs ?

We are allowed to have hives on our Allotments but you need to have done the bee keeping course. The council would pay for the course at one time, but not now.

Also, you need the agreement of every other allotment tenant, and there's at least one who would never egree.

I think there's also some rules about netting surrounding the hives being a certain height.

I fancied it at one time, but decided it was too much hassle.

Cheers.
