Generally, innovators aren't driven by power or money or fame, they enjoy problem solving and creating stuff that no one else has, they're intrinsically motivated. I don't believe that someone who's extrinsically motivated by such things as cash could effectively innovate in the tech world.

That's important for managers to understand too. If you are a successful businessman who finds himself in need of tech innovators, it's easy to fall into the trap that the specialists you want are motivated by the same things that people in the commercial domain are motivated by.

f***ing tell me about it!!! Lol

My daughter has moved in with her 4 year masters degree, nuclear physics, can take an MRI scanner apart and put it back together again with his eyes shut, studies the atoms of blood or some shit boyfriend !…..he’s a little fat nerd !……and he bought vegan sausages the other night for dinner my daughter was telling me !

My reply?

”Move out !…..he is a nerdy little queer !”

My wife sits there in despair listening to my conversations with my kids…..luckily my daughter just laughs !

My grandson told me he wanted to be a banker, because they earn lots of money.

Now he's told me he'd rather be a YouTube gamer, ( whatever that is), as he can earn $5,000 a day !

Hes six......

Cheers.

Little man is a genius ?

My mate out in Saudi is a full nerd, yet he can rewire a Tornado in his sleep.
I seem to have lots of friends who are nerds ?

He speaks, reads and writes both English and Arabic, and one day he started talking Japanese and his mother asked how he had learnt that, he said he's been learning it on YouTube !

He wants to start a YouTube channel and said we would have to subscribe to see it ! ?

He brings drawings and paintings home from school and sells them to his relatives.....I asked his mum if she's sure he's half Saudi and not half Jewish !

Is your pal working for BAE, or contracting for RSAF ?

I know lads who work for BAE in Taif, and I used to work for the RSAF.

Cheers.

That's the thing with kids exposed to different cultures and multitudinous experiences from a very early age, they haven't the restrictions we had at children ?
