Ken's Deputy 4,462
Yes. The things gym rats and poseurs like to be seen carrying as they jog. I wonder about these ones with a tube like spout. How does water get out without vacuuming? Do ye need to pour it into ye open mouth? Fukk That! That in mind, I'm looking at wider mouthed ones. More like on a milk bottle? Metal. " Sigg ", Swedish made, have gone to shit, apparently. Shame. 'Handle' / finger loop, to take it room to room. 1 Litre. Not fussed if it's tall or squat. Squat could lend more stability though ..... Dogs Been using a 2 Ltr milk flagon. They're just not made to last, in use, though. Anyone up on these things, please? Thanks. Jonjon79 13,358
I use one like this - I like it because it's more traditional and the 'water' inside tastes nicer
Ken's Deputy 4,462
Kleen Kanteen fukks up? Straight away then, cool. Good to know! And 'Bite Valves' and 'sipping'? Again, exactly the sort of inside dirt I'm looking for. I can't bite, see? And fukk 'sipping': I need to Chug! If I'm not getting half a pint going down my throat, I'm wasting my time. This ticks boxes: Except that it's very tall and upright. Easily knock overable. Then there's this, rather 'Socks' looking thing. But, I do like its 'dumpiness'. Maybe I could just unscrew the whole top? I'm doing that with my milk bottle. I'd do it with a Bambaw Thoughts?

Ken's Deputy 4,462
Actually ended up going with one of these: Seems to tick the boxes. Plastic, ironically! But, at least it'll be mine and should last. This plastic milk bottle's too flimsy to stand constant use. This one's also more dumpy, so has stability. The spout has an air hole, so it won't vacuum. I could just take the lid off anyway, like my milk bottle. Best of all? Third from the left, below? Just Look at that fukking great handle! Perfect! Really looking forward to having it.

I have that , it’s probably a bit overkill but I have a clock Guage on the side which I use to drink throughout the day . so by 11 , if I know how much I’ve drank etc . Well worth it imho having a water bottle . Whenever you want a drink you never have one , I’ve always lived by the rule that the more expensive you buy something like that , the quicker you will break it . Amazon / Yorkshire trading company , 8 quid max . Nipped
Borr 7,815
Well this topic has come in handy, my kid has to drink a lot of water , coincidentally had drama this week with a teacher , any bought a couple of those hydrate in camo with matching carriers, kids will love em, look army like seem robust and stable , we've tried every bottle going all the sleek ones get knocked over, smaller ones need refilling too often, so fingers crossed cheers guys.

Exactly! Mine lives on the corner of my desk, all day. At night, it sits beside my futon. Any of the tall, sleek designs would be an absolute catastrophe! Getting knocked over and, at night; Getting knocked over and rolling into the blackness! My present milk bottle is a 2 litre. I half fill it ~ out of habit, really. More manageable than full. I never go anywhere now. So, I only need take it to the kitchen for a refill. Also ~ just a little side issue I picked up on. But; Mine holds Lemon Barely Water. Not just plain water. And I've seen how some of the steel ones come with a 'plastic' type coating, inside? Those coatings can, and do break down and come apart. I have a hunch the acidity of my lemon might exacerbate that? Not on any sudden health trip or anything, by the way. I'm just a thirsty fukker and habitually need a drink at hand
Borr 7,815
Yeah coatings should be good on them, damn sight better than milk bottle, I'll let the kids road test them, I should get one really I buy large packs of water bottles and leave in the car but it's a lot of plastic waste so might start buying giant ones and filling a bottle each day. Ken's Deputy 4,462
It's sad and tragic, really. I buy these stupid little bottles of Robinsons? 750cl or something. Even at dilution strengths, I fukking near get through a bottle a day. Lot of wasted plastic! But, what's a man to do? If they'd make me a deal on a IBC? I'd be up for that. I buy all the shit I can in bulk. Because I'm an absolute brick for habituating to the things I do and eat. What fukks with my head is these idiots who buy a plastic bottle of Evian. Pour it into their chic, to be seen with, 'gym bottle'. Then throw the fukking plastic in the bin!
