DIDO.1 20,565
Long term I think this crypto stuff is bollocks and I'm increasingly looking forward to the chinks switching off the Internet and us all going primeval. Short term I'm seriously considering bunging a few quid into some of these crypto fads. Years ago I nearly bought a bunch of bit coin when I needed some dodgy Internet stuff doing and paying for. If only I had

If only I had Mate of mine sold his bit coins for £8k then it went up to £50k he’s sick as a pig but what can you do!

WILF 43,958
I can only see Crypto as a trap just like leaving the gold standard was a trap…..there is ultimately f**k all value in non existent things other than a value attributed by somebody, somewhere. They can push a button and wipe you out…..taking all your money with them as we have seen governments and banks do time and time again. Real things will always have a value no matter what, when you own it and you can touch it then it’s worth whatever you are prepared to take for it.
Borr 4,330
I chipped in on a mates investment, about £500, worth about a tenner now he had a fair stock of different ones and decided to move some of the eggs into one basket if he'd left it as was would've had £270,000 , gutted, if our one does take off we'll all be millionaires

But as a short term gamble it's as useful as Ladbrokes I reckon
SheepChaser 8,082
One of the things folk forget about crypto is it’s environmentally really bad. Lots of company’s and folk with warehouses full of mining rigs running 24/7 plus cooling fans etc. Burning lots of electricity.
chartpolski 20,226
Just another "south sea bubble" brought into the Internet, digital age, preying on the greedy and the gullible. Youll hear of a few successes, but none of the bankruptcies. " The rich get richer and......"; well you know the rest. Cheers.
