New windows in top rooms... the old windows had lost half the panes abd were rotten..

Perversely I love stripping wall paper to the point I was thinking of starting a company doing just that some years ago could have some fun with the name still think it would be a service people would pay for ??

I love it too and I get paid for doing it regularly part and parcel of decorating.. makes me laugh when I see people having a go and struggling…same as anything  do it the right way and it’s a piece of piss …

1964 this paper was put on, if guess at 10 coats of paint on it...not struggling as such...but wouldn't say i love it! Lol

That’s nearly new 🤣. I’m lucky I get to work in a lot of old historical buildings in bath …. I regularly get 6 plus layers of paper then 40 years of paint on top 😳…

The cellar on this place is dated to 1054..started as a saxon long house ..pretty much something been done every century since (apart from wall paper) lol...

It's a quest, or a labour of love..im not sure which yet lol

Labour of love 👍… you can’t beat history in a building😎 …. I know I’m a bit mental , but do you not think about what’s gone on in that room through the centuries … blows my mind that’s why I love Roman Bath .

I f***ing hate them telescopic ladders...got two sets in my lock up....b*****d things always trap my fingers when I'm taking them down
