I've not personally driven a full electric car....yet...but I have had a few goes on electric motorbikes/mountain bikes and it's instant....the power is there...quite nutts to be honest... would love a go in that R32 that greyman put up???

He will convert anything mate, had a splitty camper out there a while back it was doing 0-60 in 2.6 seconds, he makes kits so you can remove the original engine and put the Tesla kit and battery’s on the same engine mounts so if you want to put them back original you can, he has a tube channel called zero ev  plastered the offices for him when he was first getting going, that’s a full Tesla drive train motor gearbox and controller mad power for something so small ??

got rid of my lambo......no room for me dogs....and besides i prefer this 17 year old Citroen berlingo ..complete with smelly dog odour and abandoned kids clothes and shoes...

Now that is car porn, electric will never beat that sound no matter the performance.

A lad I know made this, his company is now worth millions the car will leave a Bugatti standing don’t think internal combustion and gearbox’s will ever stand up against electric mate, the race is now

The lad at works Tesla is f***ing insane

think it was 65k , it’s immaculate inside , absolutely beautiful , quiet , shifts like nothing you’ve seen , it has no servicing other than brakes and tyres , it’s about a tenth of the fuel costs (costs him about 3.50 a day in electric for a hundred mile plus round trip) and works out 42k cheaper in depreciation and running costs over 5 years than a comparative marque.

The only thing that would bother me on an electric car is how well the battery holds up after a year or so of charging.

Take for example your mobile phone, once it's bedded in you might get a screen on time at about 6 hours, a year or so down the line you will lose some of that performance.

I’m sure they will be aware of that .

I was very much in doubt of all of it but after seeing it in saturday , I’d say that the technology has evolved .

Not sure the depreciation is much different to any other car mate i certainly cant see how it would be as much as that ?.....at the end of the day vehicle depreciation is dependant on the desirability of the make/model of the car at that particular time not what fuel it runs on.

Not sure but that’s what he said .

I’d imagine a high end comparative Mercedes or Audi wilL drop quite rapidly in value as opposed to a newer Tesla especially in corporate fleets

Electric motors are aload of shite. I know a few folk with them and they say they are a pain in the arse having to find charging points on long journeys , having to stop to charge ur motor half way through a journey then having to leave it overnight to charge somewhere if you don't have a charger at your house. Both fellas got one each as a company motor ended goin and buying a real car and just claiming they're mileage and expenses cos the electrics are so rubbish. Load of shite. Fact.

Don't know why they have to leave it somewhere to charge overnight ? they normally come with a charger you plug into a normal mains socket incase you don't have an outside charger. The journey thing I can understand but if you plan your route and find a fast charge point and have a break for a wee while your grand normally.
