Cheers matey, was a no brainer really, my days here consisted of, festering on the settee for as long as i could, which in return makes my day shorter, then back on the settee for the night, i thought

just been on phone to colchester housing ive given the neccesary documents everything is legal and above board with my bank statements, no problems with giving my daughter cash, all sorted now lads th

Well lads, this time next week i should be firmly esconsed in my new home,its been slightly traumatic these past few days, do this do that, pay this n pay that, pack this pack that, i was up at 3 30 this morning, i wake up with things on my mind, and thats me up for the day, i cannot drop back off, im honestly stressed out to fcuk, but i thrive on stress , i was worried about the fact i send my daughter a few quid each week help her out, i didnt know how the housing benefit section would look upon it, i didnt want my daughter getting into any trouble on my account, but its all sorted now and legal, thanks to you all for your kind and up front help, very much appreciated, also you foxdropper for finding the time at such an early hour this morning for your pm, and putting my mind at ease, well im off now make some lunch, hope your all enjoying the sunshine :good: by the way my new home is winstree court, holly road, col, enjoy the day, chester, never in my wildest dreams did i ever envisage sheltered housing, enjoy the day lads, enjoy the sunshine, cant help but feel, im leaving my lady behind, well i am   oh dear

at the bank this morning while i was getting bank statement, the teller asked if its just yourself n lady wife moving down south, id completely forgot to inform my bank that she had passed, so i had to dig out Ruthys death certificate, memmories came flooding back

think they are more interested if you have savings in a bank account .i dont really know as i have never claimed any benefits .

Good luck with the move. Would be a daunting thing for anyone to do, so you’re bound to be a bit apprehensive. You worked it all out and decided to move with a heavy heart, but a clear head, so no point worrying too much about it now.

   Exactly right mate, how much have i got in the bank, well im well under the threshold that qualifies me for housing benefits, there words not mine, so its the benefit system for me

bang on there mate. my father lived in a council bungalow, everyone around him payed nothing he paid full everything as his pit pension put him just over the threshold. took me ages but I finally got him a rent rebate one Friday and he died following Tuesday...... sods fxxxcking law
