Im in Devon, we have small fields with lots of gates mainly and yes big high thick hedges. 

Our typical ground, no big fields or stock fencing

I had a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie lift 3 outta 3 in November in small fields round here not a drop of fcukin saluki in sight. Lol. 

On our fields those big long dogs struggle to put a bend in a hare. Dogs have to be right on em and most importantly keep them off the gate as they will drop under and f**k off down the road

Any dog of size should be able to take fallow, they're not hard. Any dog over 24 is big enough to take most fallow and smaller dogs will take does

what I meant is they not as fast as some a the smaller off big slips easy to get to
