Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

post war scran....no foreighn herbs and spices...used lots of sweet chestnuts in loaf and sprouts with pepper and butter

this was seriously lush...will have more tomorrow with chips and gravy...

a meatloaf done in a dutch oven (which keeps it very moist)....unlike other meatloaf recipes which are cooked in a tin like a bread loaf and can be a bit dry

Bit of chicken pasta for dinner today, think I’m going to make a chicken and leek pie for tea in a bit, it’s a shame I’m going back to work tomorrow, I like just pottering around, while Mrs Stav is at work
