Looks delicious. Thank you Where do I start mate. I actually de-boned a half a lamb shoulder, removed a lot of the fat and cubed the meat froze half. You could use just cubed lamb. Could use Chicken, Rabbit, Venison, Pheasant any game really. I browned the cubed Lamb in a frying pan. Chopped a medium onion up quite small and fried that up till soft. I put some chicken stock and water into a saucepan and on the heat. I chopped Swede, Carrots, Cauliflower at about the same size. I used a potato like a new potato or salad potato that doesn't fall apart. Yes and mushrooms. Any veg you might have. Put every thing in the saucepan, I then added some frozen Sprouts. You could add a stock cube, I didn't this time. Fried off about 3 sliced garlic cloves then added them with a load of Black Pepper and used Soy sauce to season instead of salt. Simmer for an hour or so. About 5 minutes before you serve up add a hand full of Frozen Peas. The Bread is Morrisons Granary uncut loaf with a lashing of butter. Hope this helps. Arry, and I mean this with the utmost respect of your culinary knowledge etc, you do know that cooked/stewed celery tastes very different to raw celery? Either way, we all have our own likes/preferences etc, and I love celery, cooked or raw, and often eat it raw, sometimes dipped in a little salt and pepper.

Celery smells lovely cooking in a stew, as do leeks.
Arry 25,526
Yeah I do know Celery tastes different cooked but I still don't like it nor does Wifey. Leeks I like and grow them but didn't use them this time as I used a lot of onion. Celery raw to me tastes like petrol lol. Cheers Arry
