Rabbit Pie ! And, for the purists, made with shortcrust pastry, NOT puff pastry ! ? ! Cheers.

Treat off my dad tonight, he's a friend on the fresh fish stall up town... Scallops and lemon sole fillets...

Family get together at ours, so a bit of a spread.. 13 hour cooked brisket, slow cooked pork shoulder.. Home made coleslaw, stuffing, roasties... and a 2 day hangover! Lol

This might sound a bit poncy but in my defence I followed a recipe and it was delicious

butter baked pollock with cavolo nero colcannon, griddled asparagus and a Prosecco cream sauce

Tbh mate it was gunna be a traditional Bajan Sunday dinner but I told her not to bother with roast spuds as the mac pie and rice was quite enough carbs and I couldn't be arsed to pop out and get a cabbage for the Steamed veg after all the rum punch I'd necked Saturday.Bajan Sunday dinners are a proper mixture of a roast  British and carribean cuisine with Barbados being a former British colony.Traditionally 1 chicken dish and 1 red meat or even 2 if if you're entertaining visitors and sometimes a fish dish too.And curry goat aint really curry.I love mopping it up with a Yorke or too with some coleslaw.

Im really trying to build relations with my sister again after a lot of unpleasantness over the years,so she invites us over for dinner yesterday....what a complete wally.

Chalkstream Trout with Almond Potatos on Watercress Sauce she says......i just couldnt resist.....2 mouthfuls in and i says " give us a Scotch Egg will ya "

The birds gone nutty as a fruitcake this is a woman who with her husband had a rough South London pub for years through the 80's and 90's.....a normal Sunday roast would have done ffs !
