Popular Post Greyman 25,576
Spent the weekend on my boat, moved a lot of stuff from home up and a lot of stuff I did not want packed away and moved off, also getting familiar with how things all work, weather was a bit rough to take it out for a first time but when it’s calm will take it to the dock to fill and empty all the different tanks, back home now to start ripping out the bathroom in my house new one going in from tomorrow to make things ready for the tenants, so will be back and forward for a week or so before I get my hernia repaired on the 30th then as soon as I,m up and about I’ll be gone, dogs took 24hrs to settle in and the Cattys are hanging on the radiator

I would be gone now mate but my misses wants me to be over my operation before we do, so if all goes well will be living full time from the first week of December, am going back and forward with stuff at the moment, because lifting is going to be out for a couple of weeks after it’s done but I,m living out of a couple of bags at the moment, when I’m in will be staying within a 50 mile radius of Gloucester for the most part with the odd adventure elsewhere if and when

Will make a little video soon when I get it sorted inside a bit more, spent a day removing the plates from the walls and the 200 eyelets they were cable tied to, people who owned it just left it as it was so I have as much of them to remove as myself to install 23

shovel leaner 7,648
Nice one Greyman . If you moor in Gloucester docks , PM me , I’ll come over and have a pint in the Brewhouse next to the quay . The best beer in Gloucester . Try “Shed head “ or “Stevedore “. That’s a nice little run from Sharpness to Gloucester, then up the Severn to Tewkesbury. I’ve got an old mate lives on a narrow boat on that stretch. He spends most of his time in the Horse shoes in Frampton, I think you two would get on well . He’s got a Lurcher and catapults , he can’t reconcile me being a gamekeeper . He calls me a traitor . 1

I used to supply the shoes with squirrels. They did squirrel burgers and squirrel pie . I think it’s changed hands since then . But still a good boozer .
