Any idea whats happened to the Earth dog Running Dog magazine i didnt get Mays copy and the one before that was for March /April ?

I remember it being like that in the 90's, you'd still get 12 mags though they might take longer than 12 months to publish

Mr H cut it down to 10 copies a year . I think he was struggling to get content . I’ve subscribed for years . But I was finding that it was getting left unread , I kept subscribing out of a sense of loyalty but when the last reminder came through I didn’t send the cheque off . I aught to email him with an apology/ explanation because I liked the old boy .... I will get around to it ,

just as ive just sent in a article  in haha  ,  as you say they not much going on in there of late, and he always asked for people to put pen to paper, so i have  . did think it would have been out by now, maybe he not very well, the old lad as been ill  of late, hope he ok .!

I  thought about writing an article too . But I have always kept my dog work to myself, and in this day and age I don’t want to put myself out there . Fair play to those that do though. I’ve always enjoyed reading DHs work and he has been a great ambassador for the sport . In fact through his articles and his opinions, I have come to form my own standards. I hope that whatever is ailing him soon passes and he carry’s on . I wish him well .

I used to send in the occasional article about bushing, ferreting etc with my kelpies but every now and then somebody would write in to the letters page decrying how many non-lurcher and terrier articles there were so I stopped bothering.

Like you Shovel Leaner, I've always kept myself to myself, rarely been out with the dogs with anybody else.

Same here,i keep my self out the spotlight,could have loads of great storys,and goings on etc,but not very good at writing anyway.one of my bullx was wrote about in it a few yr back.

I’ll be disappointed Raymond if there’s no mention of the innumerable conquests you’ve achieved , buck 1st cross gsd grey big dog , 90lbs , or some karate hints for dealing with lamping confrontations. 

Fair play mate , knocking on and still game !

Haha, like say  he asked people to contribute bit more to it, as with out articles there no Mag.  Yeh few lines about the big lad, I've had some great nights/days out with him, he 8 in august,  been a good knock about type lurcher.
