Bobtheferret 1,277
I was sat on a hill near me in January watching a few warrens in warm January sun and counted 14 baby rabbits hoping in and around the holes but had to sit there for a while before they came out and once you moved they ran in. There’s no known disease out there that would only kill the young (as with cornovirus it more likely to kill adults than the young) RVHD1 young rabbits were actually naturally immune. If you have adults around there’s bound to young somewhere. Does will nest away from the main Warren often so sometimes where you see adults you won’t see young.
