bird 10,014
just reading the 1x beddy x greyhound post , got thinking the main thing comes over to me , is the lack of pure beddys that actually work, meaning earth work, that comes over from the post. well why not use a well tested pat , on say good whippetx grey bitch , just nice proven type lurcher , i reckon over time you get a uniform type lurcher , say 23-25in 60 lb dogs , that catch most stuff mooching / lamping, it deff be worth a good punt. after all they used apbt in the late 70s to greyhounds , and lurchers, and these types lurchers proved very successful from there on . just a thought .? 1 Quote Link to post

There beddys out there doing earthwork but you are right they are few and far between but cant really what difference it makes in a lurcher ? Iv ad lurchers bred with both types and both had and have courage to spare ? But getting back to the patt x i av a ratting vid of patt x whippets and they have different coloured collars because you cant tell them apart ? I doubt you get one make 25 ats though even crossed a grey ? Atb Quote Link to post

Aussie Whip 4,289
I'm going to put my Parsons over my grey blooded whippet bitch mainly for ferreting and any foxes we run into.I tried mating him with my blue whip/stag but he's too short and when I tried to put him on a step the bitch wouldn't have it.Any suggestions how to accomplish this?Any excess pups should get homes with pig hunters as the cross is good for pushing pigs out of blackberries. These i see were ratting and as pack did the job ok but then again a pure whippet will do the same job ? But they did look like the bred to type ? But like there not for me Quote Link to post

Jack off terrier with sandwich bag.flip his dick backward and drain.draw up the sauce with 10 cc syringe.you need to add 2-3 inches of tube to end of syringe.I think we used water line for refrigerator water dispenser.tickle the bitches cooch afterwards to make her hold it in. 2 Quote Link to post
