Pellet choice

Hi guys I've used Webley acupel for years in my guns and I think it's time for a change what do you guys use and what do you recommend me trying my guns are hw100 and a Webley venom sidewinder regards phil

My old HW100 .177 loved Bisley mags, can't comment on the Venom.

My own 100 runs bizzy mags like a boss. But previous 100’s have preferred Fields .52. 

Marko has decent results with Exacts I think. 

Only ever used webley pellets, or power pells, back in the day in my old S300. 

If the sidewinder is what I think they were, like a tuned Raider, maybe see what the lads that’s owned raiders used. Mac had a raider that didn’t miss. Can’t think for the life of me what lead he fed it though.

Jsb 15.89 5.52, that's what mac used in that raider & every other .22 he's had

Falcon accuracy plus 13.4 gr, JSB express 14.3 gr  these fly  flat and fast about 620 FPS / 610 . AA fields 15.9 gr for something a bit heavier but slower speed about 570/575 FPS

Mitch, ( Villaman) put me onto the JSB Exact Express .177 and Falcon Accuracy Plus .22.

              Some figures here might help you some Ratty.

 

My HW 100 KS , using  FAP .22 - 13.43 g, 5.52, 629 ft\sec, 11.8 ft/lbs. KEEP AN EYE on your rifles performance/ power levels.

                  My 100 is an absolute tac driver with these pellets.

 

My HW 100 KT .177 using AA Fields 4.52, 8.4g, 794 ft/sec, 11.79 ft/lbs. - tac driver again.

 

My HW 100 KT .177 using JSB Exact Express 4.52, 7.87 g, 815.6 ft/sec, 11.63 ft/lbs and yes, you guessed correctly- tac driver.

 

                          I Use the JSB Exact Express in all my spring rifles as they are just incredibly accurate and hard hitting with all of them. I would definitely give them a good test in your Webley Rats .

Iv had three raiders all 22 and as vis says jsb22 15,89 5,52

has to be 5,52 not the 5,51 ,s

all raiders were accurate and then some 

But the one rez mentioned was some thing else

as vis says i use them in all my 22 rifles over the years and even

my FX CROWN i have now

but dont take my word for it ill let the pics speak for them selfs

i need a pellet i can trust and i find iv got that with jsb exact jumbos 15,89 5,52

iv tried others but all ways come back to jsb

it works for me but may not for others

think its safe to say your combo works well.. got to agree with the aa/jsb quality being a bit hit and miss, ive thrown a few tins away over the years!

back to the op pellet recommendation my .22 hw100 shot super domes better than any other pellet

Jimmy seems to me you have a little " unfinished business" shooting the Raider, you shot her very, very well .

                          Put one back in your cabinet maybe ? ( in .177 )
