Very very few are deserving of the title and those few are the only ones I'd show any respect to. Getting an honour for kicking a ball about or singing some songs. Lot of pish In many ways I agree but the publicity tends to stay with those we know, the Honours list DOES include the likes of Doris, who has been a cleaner and volunteer carer at the Old People Home for the last 40 years, but they tend to get very little publicity! 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Lot of pish im not against footballers or singers having them but it has to be for things away from their sports. if a footballer post retirment spent his time helping grass roots in his city and years down the line its flourished and its down tn him then i dont begrudge it.
