Meece 1,957
Well there's a whole host of solicitors and barristers queuing up to work on a no win no fee basis to squeeze every last penny out of the government / police /newspapers ect ect just like they did for cliff Richard on behalf of the couple who were arrested by Sussex police. What a chaotic, symbolic operation. Was there a threat ? If so who was responsible? What motive if any. The cost of this will run into hundreds of millions of pounds. One of the brother in laws was kept onboard a plane for four hours and then had to go back through imigration and then back home. Holiday gone. He will be paid out compo for the flights and the holiday and accomodation are pending. Work that out for 750 odd plane fulls a day + all of the situations where people were diverted to other airports and the passengers had 4o be found hotels and onward transport to where they were going in the world. mackem 23,783
Total over-reaction to what probably was some kid trying his drone in an NFZ,i live near heathrow,if you try and fly your drone near an airport of prison or "sensitive" area NFZ flashes up on your screen,no fly zone, but theres always going to be someone who tries and flies over it,on TV earlier they were even questioning if there ever was a drone?? Meece 1,957
Well there you have it. Bit of plastic drain pipe, air compressor, and box of bog rolls. Anti drone gun.
