I believe triggs buster  malamute with grey and saluki blood I believe the little bit of saluki gives grace and balance plus the natural type gives a good blend maybey more so fa edible but like with most some do other jobs.its the stamina running style and the ability ta keep going plus staying sound ,what I find with these herding shepherd type xes his there strengths.we looking ta breed the malli bitch xs maybey next yr or so  we will see the owner likes stuff that's very capable so we may be going down the terrier jukel route they would compliment each other if there was tons of Conies and were bothered ta ravel for them a coursing bred would fit the bill.but times change and we make what we need now ta suit the needs .atb bill

Yes he has mate, just been taking him out solo ferreting, very biddable and easy to handle dog with a fantastic temperament. Different people require different standards but i am more than happy with him, i have had dogs of my own for 40yrs and worked other peoples before that, i have had some i have had a great bond with but none like this young fella. Ive found with him to take things slowly and it sinks in no bother.

Sounds like he's got a great temperament mate. Very interested in a bit of Shepard in a lurcher, something I'd like to try in the future. How's his nose and desire to find game?

I can only speak for my bitch, but her nose is good and her desire to find game is as you could imagine. Watching her track scent is a great thing to see, sadly there is not enough open ground around me, so my chance to see it is limited.

My bitch looked bit short in the back in my pics, so I've found another. It'll probably be the last, as pictures ain't my ting ?

Aye he has a decent nose, just getting to grips with his marking, he is a very subtle marker, nice and steady running sets, will hold a rabbit in the purse net or quick set but when rabbit bolts if I say leave it he doesn’t touch it, only thing I am struggling with is retrieving. He was retrieving not to bad but is going backwards in that department. Very soft mouthed. Just need to get his retrieving better and more hunting experience. He was only 2 in August, I am not to concerned about his retrieving just yet, he is still very puppyish. I like him that’s the main thing, Got loads of time to iron things out.

No line breeders in uk to my knowledge alsation xs yes there his a small line but was never enough interest ta keep, them going I have fourth gen line bred bitch ,that line desperate for an out xs the vigour in the bitch line diminishing .but hey it don't matter now ,the mallinois I know the breeding off the malls of l Cumbrian my old lamper mate has a male he around six now ,he did not like teeth under any conditions was not good on tasty edible  funny thing he got to a small bull xs the welps like all .fe King dogs for yas lol.in fairness those we bred was from a whim bred male and at top working bred mallinois bitch she was twenty four and strong,Neva worked other than security work when the breeding took place the Welsh from that union seem all to have took ta teeth and those of ours seemed to be guarding and protective of there handlers the little bitch would not allow anyone                near  him handler.            at ten weeks, she's fine now and been through correct handling his no different than the next jukel overriding and understanding these traits  his off great importance  in coursing breeds we understand the aggressive type welps the same needs to be seen with the mallinois xs loads and loads of socialisation all needed the fire his set in them.the large bitch his a no nonsence type very type more so fr a bitch  only seen quality bull xs bitches I can compare to her  she hunts relentless day time forestry all cover etc night time perfect lamper tackles anything and improving .the only thing I can say the f1 malls ain't got the training brain has a generation alsation ,xs which da me would also be fa most f1 types collie greys f1 ain't like those malls  lurcher xs we bred these are like teak ,da line breeding these they could be very very good modern young gun type jukels with abit of tweaking and a few decent followers of the type.atb Bill.
