ive a rake of tattoos from all over the world , they all fkn hurt  wether done by a nail. bamboo stick or machine , did have one done once by a iban woman in borneo ,no big deal .just remem ber she was one ugly old bird

Spot on.Im covered and they all ranged from uncomfortable to painful as f**k.You normally find the people that say it didn't hurt at all have some tiny little thing on their arm which took all of 10mins.Some f**ker sticking a needle in you is always gunna hurt to some degree.

I got my wrist done for my first tattoo and they said it was meant to be one of the most painful but it honestly didnt hurt at all. The one on my calf hurt like a b*****d.

that's the thing really isn't it about tattoo's bud, where it hurts someone in a certain area, someone else can handle it, but for me, the ribs was the worst pain ever, also, around the nipples is a bit nifty as well, my mate had one on his back years ago, he struggled so much with the outline he's never been back to have it finished, i think one of the horrible parts of the tattoo is washing it in the hottest water you can handle to scrub it clean once it's been finished, it's a short lived pain 10 -15 seconds, but boy...does it smart....

2yrs ago tomorrow I had a full day booked with a portrait specialist to do a piece on my back. The first 4 hours we went straight through as I was finding it surprisingly easy.A little uncomfortable in places but quite bearable.Just after 4 hours it started to get really unpleasant so we stopped for a break. When we started back I spent the next hour or so squeezing f**k out of the back of the chair, teeth clenched, eyes shut, sweating like a pig. When we finished the artist said I still had an hour so did I have anything else I wanted done so I had some filling in done on my arm which I normally have no trouble with.It was as much as I could do to keep my arm still on the table.Afterwards the tattooist reckoned that nearly everyone has a shut off point where the body goes F**k this and a much as you try to keep still it won't.

i have both my wrists done as well, it was the inside that was most painful i felt.....

I found inside of elbows(If that makes sense)the most painful part on my arms. And up close to my armpits started getting a bit sore.

yes...i know exactly where you mean, the bone on the inside of the elbow, and yes, it is a bit tender up close to the armpit, but once go past that bit the armpit isn't that bad really...
