Vets spend a lot of time putting animals down and as one would expect they don't like it. Basically what's done is to double check the case and subtly persuaded you to give it that time. So perhaps I may disagree with his methods perhaps not his intent. Hope the bitch picks up. Edit to add for those unsure exactly what homeopathy is see link http://edzardernst.com/2017/04/official-verdicts-on-homeopathy/ Or just google Dara O'Brien homeopathy video ? mushroom 14,109
My vet was in tears when I made the call, begged me to keep trying. Unfortunately, I wasn't letting my mate suffer anymore. I told him put the IV in and give me the syringe, I don't want my boy going out listening to fuucking skryking. Stayed with him until it was over and then had a good old cry with the vet and my mate. Never once saw a vet that emotional in UK! They're usually more eager for a dollar, than the welfare of the animals. Socks you make whatever call you see fit mate and to fuuck with what anyone else says. It's your companion! 5 1 Quote Link to post

Might have read this wrong but was you not going to get the dog out down if the dog wasn’t getting down for free. If it had paid my mortgage bla bla it would have it’s rest of its days on the couch 1 Quote Link to post

Coincidence is not proof of causation. How many believed in toads and warts ?. If an animal got better after likely a number of interventions plus time for the natural healing process the owners tends to thank the last intervention rather than the process. Alas anyone who still believes in homeopathy after it has failed very thorough investigation and has now been discounted by pretty much every scientific/ medical establishment, that have no financial stake, is rather like King Canute holding back the tide. So one must add a quote from mr Feynman on science "the first principle is that you must not fool yourself - and you are the easiest person to fool". 2 Quote Link to post

Sandy everybody knows you hate homeopathy and I am well aware of the time laps self healing process etc and I still maintain where the conventional medicine failed the homeopathy worked .... a massive amount of modern medicines are derived from plants so homeopathy is linked with modern medicine.......
