Meece 1,958
I am watching the match and I reckon that they would beat the mens team in skill and playing entertaining football. I know that the crowd would get lost in Wembley but Colchester??? No disrespect to Colchester but it's a wonder that they haven't been made to play up the local village pitch with a few cars parked round the pitch using thier headlights to illuminate the pitch. Well done the girls 5-0 up. They've got 10 mins left so it could be more yet.
WILF 50,545
It’s good, I watched the women’s World Cup and it was tidy. England came on loads under Mark Sampson but he was forced out over some allegation. Even so the bloke was a good coach and it shows.
Welsh_red 5,029
I don't know what the women's game is like these days . But years ago I watched a few games and the football was good but the goalkeeping spoiled it
tsteve9999 456
I cant stand it, the average second division mens team would beat them. And whats with having women commentating on the Saturday results program? Football is a mans game, for Christ sakes let us enjoy it in peace.

The little bit I watch seems to show 22 faggots more worried about their hair and make up than being sportsmen. Horse racing is my favourite spectator sport where women compete with the men on level terms and when they fall it's a horse that kicks them, not an over payed wannbee shemale.

Meece 1,958
I think that the women's game has come on in great strides and that the players are now full time professionals. Ok it isn't as strong as the men's game but that is a physical strength issue. The play and the results are where their strengths lay. Out in Italy women's football is a much higher level and as it gets stronger here more money will come in and it will become more popular and influential. The days of games being watched by a couple of old boys and a dog are a thing of the past. And the commitment of the staff and players is Very high.

But if women want to do these sports good for them , when i was doing karate , we had kids and women really liked doing it , at the end of the night the last 1/2 hour we all do free style = fighting, thats any belts i used to get good few wack in that, many time put on my arse lol . i used to go nice and steady with the women just block etc never hit them, but feck me they try to kick you in the nuts , shin they meant business alright lol , ive got a niece 23 who plays football and loves it, she never be like my son who good amture level , who strong fit bloke , but both love the sport playing and watching it , sport for everybody dont matter if your good or crap lol

pesky1972 5,645
Skill levels are okay but speed, physicality etc. no match for any half decent level in the men's game. Bit like most sport really. The BBC showing women's football it is merely pandering to the equal rights brigade. Most women don't even watch any football, and most men wouldn't waste their time watching this shite. So the beeb shows matches that nobody watches all so that they can't be criticised by a few bra burning lesbians and so they won't write in to complain. If women's football wants to attract a bit more of an audience, then they'll need to go down the beach volleyball route methinks ?⚽️?
