I do however think the British people have enough about them buried right down deep, the spirit that enabled us to have an empire. We were rated in the world once as a culture and a people and think we could be that again. I'd like to see a new way, in fantasy land, id like to see a Britain that led the world in freedom of its people, a people that are capable of great things, a people that can do the un-doable, the people that have a nice cup of tea in the face of adversity and then say "come on then, let's get too it" And I'd like to see people benefit from that, not governments. They reap and keep the rewards of their labour, free from busy bodies and state interference, that the culture that spawns such people is valued by its own government so that it may in turn be valued as a valuable commodity by others. People, the British people, first, second and always in their homeland. I don't want to see them shackled by government, like the leper depending on handouts because some other c**t has spent it all, having apologise for all the great things we have ever done, our culture dismissed as something grubby that we shouldn't talk about. Because he promised a load of things that he couldn't possibly deliver on and the terminally stupid swallowed it hook line and sinker? scothunter 12,609
I would drastically cut the amount of mps and if its austerity and wage cuts and job losses they would not be exempt. I would make sure "we are all in it together " Public services education health would be forefront in any decisions. i would create jobs for one example flood defences. Seems every year parts of the UK get flooded out. I would keep our armed forces for defence purposes only f**k this BS of fighting wars and the contracts in the aftermath go to those who didnt sacrifice jack shit! immigration would be cut drastically if you dont have skills or funds to support yourself you wont get in. any disrespect to our culture or laws will result in youre immediate deportation and if yiu are born here then re education facilities until you are deemed fit to return to society. less mosques less special treàtamemt towards minorities. oh and Schoolkids allowed to shop in farmfoods lol

ChrisJones 7,975
I don't think restoring thing as you describe is the way forward. I do however think the British people have enough about them buried right down deep, the spirit that enabled us to have an empire. We were rated in the world once as a culture and a people and think we could be that again. I don't think so either but I'm referring to the rhetoric that's being thrown around. A lot are looking at the 'good old days' but I don't necessarily think that there was that much good in them. We still have poverty and social inequality but where we had a monarchy we now have an oligarchy. Not much has changed in that respect. For all the hatred of globalization don't forget Britain turned it into a fine art a couple of hundred years ago! Pandora's Box is well and truly dumped out... Agreed but going back to the rhetoric the many are looking for different ways to give power to the few. As the scale of opinion swings left and right they still want to install a system that will ultimately do the opposite of what they were elected for. It always comes down to self-interest once the votes have been counted. They've all got form for f*cking over the voters so how does one change the system for the better? I don't want to see them shackled by government, like the leper depending on handouts because some other c**t has spent it all, having apologise for all the great things we have ever done, our culture dismissed as something grubby that we shouldn't talk about. Afraid to put up a f***ing garden shed in case the council come round and take them to court. Taxed so much they can never be free of the corporate debt mongers who have dinner with the PM. Respect the old but beleive we can be better still and do something new. Again I'm in agreement. You know how I feel about government meddling it's never been a secret but where you and I disagree is that I don't think that there are enough people willing to think outside the party political box. The reason we're here, now, is apathy.

scothunter 12,609
I would also bring hunting and fishing back to what it was before the ban.if you have land or permission then carry on Another thing i would put up for debate is similar laws as in scotland where as long as you are respectful towards the land you may camp there without hinderance. we should all be able to enjoy the country we live in. i would also implement a post code lottery type scheme where if you look after keep youre living space /area nice and tidy you can have the chance of wining a reduced council tax. And if you are the type who goes a bit further and does something to help or benefit you're community then free council tax for a year. but There would be a flip side to that. If you're a messy don't give a f**k person with a shithole of a garden and its a social house you will lose it and moved into a flat. If Its you're own property and its an eyesore then you will see an increase in council charges. Far to many areas are run down by a few. no f***ing pride in where we live anymore.

I'll tell you, but keep it to yourself..........I ended up marrying my brothers wife's younger sister 20 odd years after they got married. My wife just happened to work for the European Commission in Brussels. I didn't want to leave to the UK. I loved living where I was, it was great! but I thought "fcuk it" let's see where this go's...................,so here I am. Lol Tbh I'm safe as fuuck! No matter what the EU say, Spain is not going to chuck away all those millions in taxes from Brits living here... If your lass is an EU national, you'll also be safe as. Especially if you have an EU registered identity ?
