My little 'un also goes up to secondary in September. There's a definite American influence now - they had a leaving do and year books.

..... I'm not complaining, they all loved it.

 

We just buggered off on the last day of term and, that was it.

That was it,your shirt got ripped and scribbled on and you flung your tie in a teenage show of f**k-you-school defiance :icon_redface: One guy from my old street in sunderland who I used to go shooting with,that street was a slum,seriously bad,anyway a few weeks ago he got a helicopter to fly his son to the school prom :icon_eek: I don't know where they landed etc but pics were all over facebook,my big fat gypsy school prom sort of stuff,where will it end :blink:

A helicopter? Fair play lol. Its all about creating memories for your kids (even if it seems a bit OTT) and im sure the lad wont forget that in a hurry

We did a bunk about 1ish and never looked back no disco no nowt couldn't wait to get a pair of overalls on and earn a wage left on a Friday working SAT.never stopped till I took early retirement IF ONLY I NEW THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW :laugh: .

Like to see the kids dressing up to enjoy themselves :thumbs: but it is an American racket all about the money and one up man ship . :whistling:.

Don't mind me I'AM an old misery guts your lad looks as if he's well chuffed with his dad.
