We had the heatwave then they said thunder and lightening then rain it went straight from 30 degrees at 6pm to hissing down at 6.01

Manchester was like that if it even got up to 28 degrees....it's so nice to be near the sea now and get a fresh breeze but we're in a valley and it's a right suntrap.....nice if you like that sort of thing.

I'm in the middle of a major refit at home I could do without it tbh the only thing I wanna do after a days work in this heat is drink cider ...I gotta have everything wrapped up for next week. ..the Mrs asked how it was going so i sent her this pic ...it's going well :

I remember as a kid, we used to get hot summer days and, the odd thunderstorm in the evening. I rarely see it now.

I've got a yank working for me, he's fron Florida. He told me about heat in the 40s with a huge, but short downpour in the afternoons - that sounds fantastic

Hammered it down for about 10 minutes yesterday evening. It was raining so hard I got drenched after no more than a 2 second dash to the kennel and back.

I bought an afternoon ticket for hampton court flower show,nice weather today,going to be eating organic strawberries and ice-cream this afternoon with the toffs
