US will continue to use sanctions on China and Russia and they have a lot of bargaining power since both China and Russia are extremely economically vulnerable....having said that China has used NK as a bargaining tool as well.

 

It's definitely coming to a head but I doubt it will lead to war unless NK is really a lone gun and China has no control over them which I doubt.

I think he's playing it very smart but no matter what these decisions are taken on advice and not just on a whim by presidents. Clinton would be dealing with the same situation and personally I think she would be doing a worse job.

 

China is in a very serious economic mess (not quite happened yet) and they are the key to the NK nuclear issue.....any trade tariffs would send them into a recession so the US has all the cards.

 

The US has sent lots of anti missile systems and radar systems to SK and Japan which has really upset the Chinese....no doubt part of the negotiation. The US also played the same game with Russia 2 years ago by deploying the same systems near Russia.

 

Trump's unpredictability (which isn't real) is ideal for US foreign policy at the moment, they want to act and seem crazy but they aren't at all, they're very predictable

I'd usually agree but now nk has intercontinental capabilities I think the game has changed

Should have dropped a few of those MOAB on him and all his cronies when they had that big parade a few months ago.Could have taken the lot in one go plus his best troops and gear.I think that even with him gone you'd struggle to bring some of the long suffering citizens round to normality as they're brainwashed from birth.Won't be many more years before they all starve to death anyway because the land is so poor for food growth and the ruskies have stopped shipping fertiliser to them they're using pure human crap on the fields and virtually nothing is growing. Is there really anyone that thinks that a war will start without massive consequences to us all, and are some really advocating mass murder with thermonuclear strikes. If yes then why in the hell are we fighting against the evil of some advocates of a certain religion. i do not see anyone asking for proof or any proof being offered about the danger, but yet it looks like we willingly are spoon fed the day to day crap about all that is done around the world in our name.

china wont want any military strikes in there back yard and don't want the north and south korea to merge and have a us puppet state on there doorstep,but I think they could take the fatboy out if they really wanted
